Privacy policy

Introduction

PSnap is a Chrome extension. By installing or using PSnap, you agree to this privacy policy.

What data we collect

PSnap Free does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.

Stored only on your device:

Extension settings, capture history (page titles and URLs), and form-login credentials, encrypted and never transmitted.

What we do NOT collect

Your name, email, or personal identifiers; browsing history outside what you capture; the content of your captures; payment information.

Permissions the extension requests

tabs — detect the active tab URL and capture the visible viewport.
scripting — inject capture scripts into the active tab.
downloads — save the generated ZIP file to your device.
storage — save your settings locally.
alarms — keep the service worker alive during long captures.
sidePanel — display the PSnap control panel.
<all_urls> — allow capturing any site you choose.

Third-party services

PSnap Free does not integrate with any third-party services. No data is sent to external servers.

When the Pro plan becomes available, this policy will be updated before that launch to reflect the new services used.

Data sharing and security

We do not sell, trade, or share your information with third parties, no exceptions. All data is stored locally using Chrome APIs; login credentials use storage.local and are never transmitted to an external server.

Children’s privacy and changes

PSnap is not directed at children under 13. We may update this policy as PSnap evolves; continued use after changes means acceptance.
